We are Together Culture: Meet Bhaveet

Member since March 2024

Together Culture is growing a community of outrageously curious, open-minded and creative members who care for each other and want to build a more inclusive and ecological Cambridge. Today, we’re introducing you to Bhaveet, an entrepreneur. You can find out more about his work here.

Why did you become a member?

The culture aligns well with my values, and I like the vision. Given the changing world, I feel that communities are more important than ever. I joined to support this community for the longer term, recognising it as an investment for later in my own journey.

What (if anything) has exceeded your expectations about Together Culture?

I’m being pushed out of my comfort zone gently. Every time I attend an event, it is something different from what I’ve experienced before, or I learn something new that I did not know before.

What would you tell someone who is interested in joining Together Culture?

Come to a Lunch and Learn, or one of the Orientation sessions, and speak to other members. Experiencing the community is an important part of the process - there is something new and different with Together Culture, and it takes time to understand.

Some of Bhaveet’s work

What is your work/passion and how do you hope to use that at Together Culture?

My vision is to bridge the gap between childhood and adulthood through my work, creating art using toys, particularly Lego. I would love to arrange some workshops, or find collaboration opportunities. Eventually, I would love to upgrade to Creative Workspace membership when it’s financially viable for me and my work.

How do you hope the Together Culture membership can change Cambridge?

The world has been changing for a few years, and is still changing. I hope that Together Culture is able to play a part in leading Cambridge through the change, rather than continuing with old ways of thinking and working.

Community Membership is £18.50 a month; become a member here. Email ellie@togetherculture.com to find out about Pay What You Can membership.

And you’re invited to join us on 22 June for Saturday Lounge - a free event celebrating our neighbourhood!
