Abbey in Action — Together Culture CAMBRIDGE

Abbey in Action was developed by Together Culture and Abbey People, and we will be working in collaboration with CCVS. We'll be recruiting 10 leaders who live in Abbey and have the ambition of making positive change in their community, aspire to develop their own voices as local changemakers, and who will work as a team to develop a programme to help more of their neighbours to do the same. The leaders will work across the next six months to contribute their expertise in a series of workshops that culminates in the delivery of an event that the cohort develops.

Together Culture is excited to announce the launch of 'Abbey in Action', funded by Cambridge City Council through the Social Prosperity Fund.

Through the series of workshops the Abbey in Action Leaders will:

Build a vision for a more engaged and prosperous Abbey for all
Build a strategy to deliver that vision
Identify the next cohort of Abbey in Action leaders, assuming the programme will continue
Deliver an event to gather leaders and the wider community to engage in the cohort’s vision
Develop an archive of voices which can be iterated for years to come
